What makes an off-plan real estate website convert

Selling homes that do not exist yet takes trust, clarity and a clear next step. Lessons from building the Bezal Homes website.

By CQube Tech

Off-plan property is a big decision based on renders, promises and the developer's reputation. The website often makes the first impression, sometimes before a buyer has even spoken to anyone. When we built the website for Bezal Homes, a Lagos developer selling Chisco Court in Lekki, we focused on five things.

1. Look as premium as the product

If the homes are luxury, the website must be too. We used an editorial, architectural style: elegant serif headlines, wide letter-spacing, generous white space and full-bleed renders. A cheap-looking website quietly suggests a cheap-quality build.

2. Put investor facts first

Serious buyers want the facts quickly. The featured-project section shows location, total units, unit types, completion date, status and developer at a glance, plus a highlighted projected-ROI figure. Visitors can decide within seconds whether to keep reading.

3. One page per home type

Each home type, from fully detached residences to terraces and the commercial mall, has its own showcase with unit counts, bedroom configuration and a brochure download. Buyers compare like with like and can go deeper on the option that suits them.

4. Make the next step obvious, everywhere

Off-plan buyers rarely buy online. They visit. So the website's main job is to book site visits and start conversations:

  • Request a visit sits in the header on every page
  • Download brochure appears on every home type
  • a floating WhatsApp button reaches the sales team in one tap, which is how most Nigerian buyers prefer to talk

5. Keep showing progress

A blog with construction updates, market insights and investment guides helps search rankings. More importantly, it shows buyers the project is moving, and nothing builds trust in off-plan property like visible progress.
